About the Role
The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments and developing plans for patient population, teach education classes to persons served and correctional staff and acts as a nutrition resource in compliance with all applicable dietitian standards and regulations. He must possess a Current unrestricted Registered Dietitian license in state of practice.
• possess a clear understanding of current and trending nutritionist Food & Beverage concepts
• possess an interest in and knowledge of good nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
• skilled in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• demonstrate great communication skills both verbal and written, including public speaking, technical
writing and lecture development skills.
• possess a dynamic and effective training style.
• excellent judgement and the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Requirements
The Registered Dietician will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments
Participate in care planning meetings as required
Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family
Meet state/federal and company standards
Perform duties independently without training or direction
Experience: 4-5 years of industrial experience with other well-known healthcare firms will be preferable.
